I too have the original but don't remember it being $40. The carry strap broke but otherwise its still the most comfortable chair/cushion I've ever sat on. Probably use it more in deer season than turkey season now.

I'm sure they are comfy as heck and light weight but I can't imagine carrying something bulky like that as much as I move around. Good price though

I've got the thugs chair and like it pretty good. I ended up not using it much last year during turkey, because of the weight and just to much to carry all over. Used it on the dove field more than anything.

I carry an old folding lawn chair with me when I dove hunt. Never for turkeys, usually for dove and occasionally for deer.

It beats setting on the ground especially for long periods of time

Great deal there,I have one from Academy and use it deer hunting,with back problems sitting on ground is not a option for me and that chair although not easy to carry it allows me to hunt.I will try it for Turkey this year.

Once you use one you won't go without it. I also use mine deer hunting if I'm sitting on the ground.
