Anyone else notice the gobbling in your area come to a sudden halt? Went out Sunday of the juvi hunt and had atleast 7 different birds cranking til almost 10 am. Went the next Tuesday and it was down to 3. Went the Friday before to make sure they were still around and it was down to 2. Now, it is null and void. Went to some public land and noticed about the same thing. Anyone else notice anything interesting?

I've had less gobbling than I've had in a while, and my spots have been in the decline areas. I have heard about four turkeys, and had one on camera, but that's it.

I think I'm not hearing any because there aren't any

I kinda thought the same, but am finding tracts and scratching everywhere... Set up on them this morning and had a bird come and go, but would hit the "wall" at 60 yrds and never come closer...

Only heard 3 all day Saturday and the Jake I called in Sunday only gobbled once.
Usually you hear 5-6 birds all hammering each morning at sun up.

I was out with a juvenile last weekend heard lots of gobbling Saturday morning
Sunday it was silent on a different property till 7:30 then had one fire up
Opening morning I heard a bunch of birds and they gobbled a ton plus I heard lots and lots of hens more than I have in a long time. I haven't been out since Saturday so I'm not sure what they're doing now.

I too had good gobbling a week ago, but getting less and yesterday I heard none. Hoping for something to happen this morning! I'm guessing they are tight with hens.
