Last Sat morning and sun.morning They wouldnt gobble,UNTILL they seen the decoy.Gobbling anywhere else

i heard more gobbles than i could count this past weekend, i would say we heard at least 500 gobbles from 20 different birds sat and sun, and i got to watch 3 birds take a dirt nap and head to the great roost beyond the sky

wow,Sat morning was SAD! Not a gobble but when we went to the field there was atleast 30 and 2 came in dad shot one then sun morn no gobbles but came in I shot.

went for a little while sunday mornning, gobbling like crazy until 7am then like a light switch turned off not another gobble heard.

Im in northeast tn, but i've heard good gobbling from the roost then they shut down for a bit until i get them to shock gobble from loud hen yelps, they've came in running after that.

opening weekend jakes and a longbeard or two were hammering from 30 min before sunrise till flydown, I dont use locator calls, just listen to the music. Did not actually see any jakes or gobblers on sunday though, they may have been bumped by someone else on the public land.

lots of gobbling both saturday and sunday mornings. also sounded like they had about 50 hens with them.

We hunted Sat,Sun, and Monday and only heard 10-15 gobbles. It is super slow around here right now. We watched 5 different gobblers and none of them would pay attention to any call we made.

Gobbling pretty good here, hammering like crazy on the limb, but have still been able to get them to gobble back pretty good on the ground as well.

Hunted Lincoln County Sat morning and had gobbling from 0545 til 0615. Then only had gobbling from a couple of jakes I called in around 0630.
