Gobbling

was out wen in Humphrey co on are lease walked up on a group they dint see us we watched them for 30 min 2 birds gobbled 12-15 times but the hens were going crazy never heard them like that befor it was pretty cool to watch

Lots of gobbling where im at but they are still in big groups of 15 to 30 hens with 5 to 10 toms and some jakes but should start splitting up into smaller flocks and spreading out in a week or so. Anyone seen this happening yet.

This may be a stupid question but is it worth going out and listening in the rain? If you can't tell I don't know much about turkey hunting! LOL

not to many stupid questions on turkey hunting we all started somewhere asking alot of the same questions.. just my 2 cents birds can do dif things in dif weather they may take a dif route heading to a fav spot in the rain then they would if it was dry they may do ab the samething only way to know is being out there learnig and taking it in.. i have watched some fields in the rain but dont listen to much unless i am hunting in it.. the one thing ab birds have learned is they never do what you think there going to do,i have a bird once every couple years fly down and come right in
