Well wasn't planning on a single season grand slam but it might happen. While hunting this morning a friend from Nebraska
texted me showing me what her husband and daughter killed this week. Had to cut her off as bird came in hot. Long story short I killed my best bird and might head up there for the hunt, just haven't convince myself this needs to be done, this year without my hunting buddy.

If I go, I'm leaving Monday morning

Wow man, that's quite an opportunity.

I want to show no disrespect, but what would your hunting buddy be telling you?

I have a friend that has numerous Grand Slams. After several with shotguns, he now has at least 3 with his bow. The nice thing about the NWTF Geand Slam is you have two yearstodo it with archery gear.

Go for it! Ive got several slams and even a single season double grand slam that I haven't bothered to register. In fact my first one is the only one I did register but I know how many I have and just haven't saw the need to give nwtf the extra fees.

I'm pulling out in the morning for Chadron hunting Pine Ridge
So does that mean the population has rebounded from the fires of a few years ago? Ive hunted that area several times. I would LOVE an after hunt report!

I have it on good authority that SOMEBODY completed their quest for a single season grand slam this morning! Hopefully he will chime in when he gets better service and fill us all in on the details! Congrats buddy! :)
