and ask if anyone in the Claiborne CO area needs a hunting buddy during Turkey season. I cant chase the birds, cant traverse the hilly terrain unless I'm on my ATV, and will challenge your patience. :D Or may just want to lend a hand to help me get on a bird.

Setterman, I'm a paraplegic. Since 1991. Auto accident returning from my first turkey hunting road trip to LBL (first year I took up Turkey Hunting). I owe those birds. :D I have fairly good upper body strength.
 
Hey encore....here in greene county we have the wheelin sportsman hunt for disabled hunters provided by our local NWTF....Usually the first day of turkey season or the prior saturday....we actually had the hunt today and we had 7 hunters with 5 of them bagging a bird....All blinds are made for ease of access.....shoot me a pm if your interested in signing up next year, and we would be happy for you to join our team!
 
Thanks Rebels20. I usually attend the Wheelin Sportsman Turkey Hunt outside of Lafollette, but its usually the last weekend of April.
 
Rebels20, while I appreciate the opportunity provided by NWTF & Wheelin' Sportsman, I was looking to form relationship with a hunter/hunters that did not encompass some of the limitations in those hunts: one time out; having to stay in the blind, etc. Hope I'm not sounding callous or greedy.
