I just recently purchased A dozen and so far so good. The guy at the pro shop suggested them but he shoots for them so I figured I would ask you guys for input be it good or bad.

I shoot them and love them very strong shot 3deer and a coyote with the same arrow last deer carried the arrow 70yards before it fell out on the ground and still hunting with it

I used to shoot Gold Tips all the time. I switch to Easton arrows, and prefer them. However, anyone that ask me, I always tell them I like and shoot Easton St Epics, and St Axis....and if Easton isnt an arrow you want to try, the ProHunter is a proven winner. Cannot go wrong with them.

gold tip is the only arrow i will buy. I don't like gimmicks and fancy labels so I stick with what works. However, save some yourself a little bit of money.

Buy the XThunters, when they cut them down, have them split the difference and cut off of both ends of the arrow. This should take out the variances in the XT and be just as good as the Pro Hunters. Most of us wouldn't notice the difference between the two anyway. Either way Gold Tips are a work horse of an arrow.

This is exactly what I did with a dozen Gold Tip Kinetics. I got the XT vs the Pros and had the shop cut an 1.5" off the nock end and the remainder off the other end. They spin true and fly great and $60 cheaper.
