First of all I got to go with just my son and I and we had a BLAST.
Secondly, we did throw some back but not too many.
Thirdly, we caught a two man limit of shellcracker (40 total) and never caught a bream.
Never done that before in my life.
After we limited out man asked what we were gonna do next.
I said, well we are gonna move right over there and finish our bait out on bream.
We proceeded to do just that.
Kept 15 big bream for a half day total of 55 in the freezer.
Coupled with another 2 hour trip the day before that moved the total fish cleaned to 113.
Not a bad way to start the season.
