I took my bow to bass pro wednesday envening and the guy looked at it and said I was going to have to have limbs. Said it would probably take 3 weeks to get them in. :( Got to talking to him about getting 70 lb limbs for it (it originally had 60 lb limbs on it) and he was pretty sure that I would have to pay the difference for 70 lb limbs but he said he would ask anyway. Well I got a call yesterday at 4 and he said that bowtech is sending me 70 lb limbs and I wouldn't have to pay anything! He said they were going to try and get them in the mail today and they should be here next week!
So far I have to give a thumbs up for Bowtechs service!

Sounds good man. Cross your fingers. I've never shot anything but a bowtech. Mostly because I have never had to use their customer service due to such awesome product. But I have heard some people say they are slow. Hopefully this is not the case with your's.

I am! I have read were they are slow sometimes. I hope that's not the case this time! I need to get back to shooting!

Good deal man..Glad to hear..Just curious, since we shoot the same bows, did you have the 60lbs limbs put on it special or did you buy it like that? Its got me thinking,I've been thinking all this time mine is 70lbs but now im not sure, because nobody said anything when I said it,the spec sticker on it,says 60-70lbs..Im wondering now if i've been shooting 60lbs or 70lbs...LOL I've never thought to check it..

If you have 60-70 limbs and it's maxed out..then you are shooting close to 70lbs...

I bought mine with 60 lb limbs because I could barely pull 55 when I got it. Now I can pull my brothers 70 back pretty easy and have been wanting to try a 70 lb bow. If yours has the 60 70 lb sticker on it then you have 70 lb limbs on it!

with today's bows, high poundage is not needed. why make it harder to pull at 70 lbs when 55 is more than enough?

Because I can pull 70lbs very easily. You can also kill a deer with a 22lr,so why use a 30-06 or some of the other high powered rifles?

i too can easily pull 70 lbs but hunt at 54. and to answer your comparison, because 22lr is not legal :)

Because I think it will help improve my shooting holding the extra weight. I feel twice as steady holding my brothers bow back and shooting it. And i guess some of me is like Tim the tool man! Can,t have too much power! :D
