A good friend of mine is a crop consultant so he spends all of his daylight hours this time of year riding around North West TN assessing crops. He called me last night to tell me that the last couple weeks he has been seeing hens and poults everywhere he goes, even in places where he has never seen turkeys before. I was afraid the June flood might have wiped the nests out, and I'm sure it did some, but I'm glad a lot made it.
