Good to see him again…

Fantastic attitude you have, i.e. let the most promising bucks live to maturity!

Most hunters kill off the bucks with the most potential when those bucks are young ones.
Then complain about there been no "really big" bucks around :D

Wishing you luck in seeing him this fall.

I hope he stays around, he is going to be a stud this fall. We both rolled the dice on two awesome bucks this year. I hope it pays off!
Just have to accept the odds.
100% certainty they grow no larger if you kill them.
I can live with 50% odds they'll be around next year.
And maybe a 20% chance I personally might get him.

If more of us "liked" passing up the best young bucks until they mature,
EVERYONE would have much higher chances for seeing much larger antlered bucks.
I "enjoy" increasing the odds.

Nothing better to me than "tracking" one for years, then "harvesting" him when he's mature.

For me killing him is a small part of it. I just love to see if they stay and how he changes. If i have a chance at him fine. I may see him next yr and decide i dont want him to die, it has happened before
