Went in the woods around 12:30 and didn't leave til the wind blew me away at 6:30. I thought it was gonna be an awesome day and it was my first hunt of the season. I sat down and 5 minutes later 2 hens walk 20 yards away right by me. The rest of the day there was nothing at all. Probably the windy weather leading to storms but oh well still plenty of season left. I'm pretty excted even after an unsuccessful day, BTW, how many of you all hunt turkey with a bow? I'm gving it a try, seems challenging and somewhat unique, I'd like to say I've took a bird with a bow and arrow

I have hunted them with a bow but never shot one haven't hunted them with a bow in years. The wind was pretty bad this morning to ended up jumping one about 30 yards away don't know if it was a hen or gobbled but I to enjoyed the day to

yeah im sure luck will get better after this bad weather passes. i think bow hunting turkey is so hard because if your sitting down its hard to draw the bow unless the turkey is in the perfect spot plus if you dont have a blind set up you have to draw at the perfect moment or you'll get busted. gonna see what i can do though. first time i've been in the woods in atleast 5 or 6 yrs today cause of playing sports in high school never let me have time. feels better than anything to be back
