Number one is down for the year. I hunted a little bit on Saturday but the weather turned south on me. I was off from work today so I headed to the farm this morning. I hunted all day and couldn't get the job done until around 6:30 pm. The game plan was to sit in a big clover field until dark. This big guy shows up 100 yards away. He came out in the field, strutted, saw something he didnt like, and slipped off as fast as he appeared. Well, I decided to follow. I was able to put a sneak on him due to the wind and him scrathing for acorns. After 30 minutes of being a ninja, I finally worked my way as close as I could get. As luck would have it, he turned and started feeding back towards me. I busted him at about 35 yards after he shock gobbled 3 times. Gota love some turkey hunting!
