Everything happened very quick. Came in and setup on a spot I found the day before. Friend went with me to call. We got to the spot about 6:35am. Blew the owl hooter and had several gobblers across the water from us about 100 yards away. He had a glass call he used maybe twice and 2 long beards flew over and landed about 20 yards from us. Got a open shot and put him down at 7:10am.
Congrats! Have you turkey hunted much before? If not, and since your first hunt ended so quickly, just wait until you get birds in front of you that you've had to work for a while. Electrical!
