At about 6:15 this morning he walked out into a field I realy thought he was smaller than he was. I pulled the trigger on my Arroehead built smokeless with a 175 gr Arrowhead bullet. He ran about 50 yards and piled up. I had taken out part of his heart and one lung. As heavy as he was I like to never got him loaded. When I field dressed him I accidentally got into the stomach He had found a good corn pile somewhere and I don't think there is a corn field anywhere close. IMG_0123(1).jpg
 
Congrats! Thank your neighbor for fattening him up. I would imagine grain fed venison is better than venison raised on twigs and berries :)
