got set up!!

just before flydown sat morning i hear a voice from behind say twra stand up and lay your gun down.it was me my dad and a good friend of mine hunting and my dads first ever spring turkey hunt. well about 2 weeks ago someone who is well known around here for poaching,tresspassing and theft asked the landowner if he could hunt the place and he told him no because he didnt want to have so many people in there that it wouldnt be safe to hunt there. well if he cant hunt there i guess no one else should either because sometime within the last 2 weeks someone had put corn out everywhere.and as u can guess we got our guns taken and a court date just because of some jealous prick. does anyone know anyone who has been through this before so i will know what to expect when i go to court and our guns?? and now we all look like lowlifes because of some other lowlife!!!

Man that sucks! I would have gotten so mad I would have probably had a heart attack. TWRA probably hears every excuse in the book, and probably thought you were BS'ing. That is so lame. Good luck in court.

the game wardens said it would probably be a $50 dollar fine and by the way he talked we would get our guns back... but while we were leaving we could see a blind with some decoys out on the same property but in a field across the woods from where we were and i told the game wardens that there was someone else on the other side of the woods and he asked me how to get to it and i told him how to go but they never went and checked him because the land owner went up there and told him about everything and told him to not be hunting in there because someone had baited it. well i went back that day without a gun and there was corn out where that person was hunting to but i dont get y the twra said they were going to go check him and didnt.
