Bought a dozen carbons from BP on sale a couple of weeks ago. Had a bow on order from Cabelas that my LOVING SON BOUGHT ME. Sweet! So I couldn't cut the arrows or dial it in then, but I didn't want to miss out on the sale. The new Parker came setup with whisker bisquit, quiver, string leeches, peep, sights and all.

Got back down to BP today...had the arrows cut, installed a loop and fine tuned everything. Billy in the archery shop hooked me up. It's shooting pretty sweet now. Only took about 45 minutes and never charged a penny for anything other than the new field tips and broadheads I bought. Hate dealing with a large chain place but Billy's a top notch guy. Seems like the bow shop runs more like an independent.

BP isnt a perfect store. The archery department isnt perfect. However, the people who are there that I still know are good people and usually try hard to please the customers. Do they make mistakes? Yes. Do they have bad days when they arent in a good mood? Yes. But they are generally good people who know a lot more than the average joe that comes in. Glad you had a pleasant experience Camp.

Actually BBq, Kerry has been fixing bows since hw was old enough to tie his shoes. His parents owned a archery shop and worked there his whole life. He is very particular about everything and knows a lot about bows and setting them up. One of the better bow techs around and can do it all. You should meet this kid. Hes good. I mean real good. And if you can get Jamie to work on your stuff he was an apprentice under Harold Phillips for years and harold new his stuff. Jamie has made strings for me before. He is probably one of the best techs around.
