Gotta admit

Not a Bama fan but I agree he should be able to coach electronically.

I am an LSU fan and think Saban is the greatest coach that ever has been or ever will be. If he sucked they would let him coach remotely. Honestly, he shouldnt even have to ask permission. This decision is for hype and tv revenue. It will add to the hype and tv revenue when he coaches against Georgia in the SEC championship. Think how much money he has already generated for the sec and ncaa in his career.

I guess this is an NCAA rule that makes no sense to me. Because he is quarantined he can not have contact on game day but can the rest of the week. Come on now this whole year has been one giant zoom meeting.

This should pretty much end the argument that Nick Saban gets special treatment from the NCAA. Other schools are getting to postpone games due to Covid -19. But ALABAMA head coach has Covid-19 and is going into possibly biggest game of the season and the game HAS to go on.

I bet the SEC leadership isn't upset about this at all -- it's a marketing boon; Georgia wins this one against a Saban-less Bama. Both the Dawgs and the Tide are still on track to win the East and West setting up a highly classic-for-the-ages rematch in the SEC Championship. Bama then winning in Atlanta virtually assures two SEC teams in the playoffs, and possibly another all-SEC National Championship. Nope, I don't think the SEC is going to throw any weight behind getting Saban to coach-from-home tomorrow.

This is not a Saban rule. It has already been enforced against other head coaches this season, so don't try to make him out as some sort of martyr or conspiracy victim.

I agree that it's a dumb rule, but I'm assuming that it has something to do with "being fair" to other coaches who may be symptomatic. I really don't get the logic behind it otherwise.

FSU didn't reschedule their game and their HC had it... played two weeks without him. So yeah the game goes on if the players do t have it. Smh

I think it should be evidence to expose the inflated Covid numbers...but it won't.

He had one positive test, and has had two negative ones since. Had it been you or me, they would have rolled with that one positive result and that been the end of it all. In this case, if he tests negative a 3rd time, then he is cleared. How many regular folks would get 4 tests in a week? It makes me wonder how many false positive cases there have been, to inflate those Covid numbers.

Two things you need to know .

Georgia Defense is not elite .

ALABAMA defense is not as terrible as been described .

That is all .
