Tim Brown and Jerome Bettis elected to NFL Hall of Fame today.

Go Irish!

In case you're wondering if any SEC players got voted in today....

Survey says......XXX!

2 from ND
2 from Nebraska
1 from USC
1 from James Madison

What does this have to do with ND or the SEC? This is the NFL hall of fame. I saw the title and thought Manti Teo had found a real girlfriend. Or at least a blow up doll. Something tangible. :tu:

Plenty!

Here's some NFL Hall of Fame trivia.

- How many players do the Vols have in the NFL HOF? (Hint: same as the number of national championships the Vols have)

- Notre Dame and USC have a combined total of 24 players in the NFL HOF. The entire 14-team SEC conference has 26 players in the NFL HOF.

- In the SEC, Alabama has the most players in the NFL HOF with 7.

- Alabama is the only SEC team on the top-10 list of NFL HOF players by college, behind Notre Dame (12), USC (12), Ohio State (9), Michigan (8) and Pitt (8).

- LSU has 3 players in the NFL HOF.

- Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi each have 2 players in the NFL HOF.

- Auburn and Texas A&M each have 1 player in the NFL HOF.

- South Carolina, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt have no players in the NFL HOF.

- The Big 10(+4) has 57 players in the NFL HOF, which is over twice as many as the SEC with 26.

I feel pretty confident this is yet another sign that the demise of the SEC is imminent.

I see the problem. You don't understand that the SEC and Notre dame aren't in the NFL. They are college teams. What happens in the nfl has nothing to do with college. Just ask Ryan Leaf. If he isn't too busy working the drive thru at Wendy's. I am a college football fanatic, but I couldn't possibly care less about the nfl or it's hof. You typed all that and I'm not even impressed. :bash:

Peyton Manning doesn't believe you.

Then he's a fool. I don't watch the nfl. I don't even watch the super bowl. If the nfl disbanded tomorrow I wouldn't even notice except the bandwagon packer and steeler fans would have less posts on facebook.
