Great Deals on Fruit Trees Right Now...

Hey, if anyone is interested you could probably get some great deals on some fruit trees right now from your local nursery. I just picked up 3 apple trees and 3 pear trees today and they were 75% off!! Some of these trees actually had a piece of fruit or two on them. They are 5 gallon trees and will produce fruit next year. Anyways, just thought I'd pass the word along in case you like to provide for your deer on your lease or own property....or for your own consumption. Just remember you better get 3 T-posts and surround them with some sort of fencing (I just use 2 rows of electrical fencing - although no electricity).

About how much did you pay per tree. I've never bought any before but would like to.

I was able to get some of the apples for about $12.00/ea and they were again, about 5 gallon substantial size trees (7ft - 8ft tall). A couple of them had an apple or two on them already. The fact that they are already producing fruit is a good sign. I've bought fruit trees just slightly smaller than this in the past and it took some of them 2 seasons to produce.
