Got set up at six am, used owl call and woke up the woods, used a fly down call and slaped my hands on my chest to sound like wings flapping, and did they get cranked up, long story short I called in five long beards, all struting and all gobbleing. I picked the one out I wanted and pulled the trigger, bird hit the ground and one of the other long beards jumped on the down bird and was flogging the heck out of the down bird, I yelled at the crazy thing and he did not stop, not untill I was walking out to the bird did the attacker get off and run away. My bird 18 lbs, 10 " beard 1 1/4 spurs . Life is good.
