Wasn't planning on hunting this morning but as I let my two pups out for their morning pee right at daylight I heard turkeys talking all over the place.
Sooo I hurried the pups up, threw on my camo, grabbed my calls and shotgun and headed out the back door. I didn't go but 100 yds or so and heard one gobble, I set up in front of a downed tree gave a couple of calls and here he came. Let him get 30 yards or so and when he went into full strut I let him have it.
Prety good bird, 10 inch beard, 3/4 inch spurs and probably go 15-17 lbs.
