I started following this guy (Don Day) because of my interest in western hunting. He's based in WY but does a daily podcast that not only details his local weather but the entire west & even sometimes the nation. Whatever happens in the west generally gets to us a week or so later. I'm not near as smart as @BSK or @BamaProud with interpreting weather models so this is a great resource for me as to what may be coming. Best part is that he puts forecasts and trends into layman terms which speaks well to me. I not only use it for western hunts, but for planning local hunts, trapping & food plot work too. Having knowledge of what may be heading our way a week in advance is huge. If your a western hunter, he often has news links of interest as well. The daily newslettter & podcast is delivered to your email at 7am each morning.
