Well I'll start off by saying THANK GOD I BUY CHEAP ARROWS!!!

Now to boast... I do not work for nor am I paid for advertiseing this archery shop.... BUT I want to promote the best archery shop I've ever been to..

Right-On-Target in Waynesville, NC. Yeah I know it's NC but it's about 45min from border of TN and NC.

Either way, they got me dialed in to where I was literally shooting 5-8 arrows and blacking out the bullzeye.

Got expensive because with shooting about 100 arrows I walked away with 4 robin hoods! Bleh... 1st one... oh cool! 2nd one... neat. 3rd one.... ok cummon this is costing me $5.00... 4th one... screw this... I'm outta here!

Wow. that's really good. I usually pull my arrows after 3 or 4 shots. But it wouldn't matter. I can't hit a paper plate for 20yds ;)

I have shot different spots and I do usually. But we were dialing the entire mechanism in to a T for tournament shooting. I did it a lot when I was a kid but been a LONG time since then.

Just when I was a kid and shooting out bullzeyes my bow was not fast enough nor had the kenetic energy to really penetrate a robin hood. (only way I could think of saying it... I know)

Either way, now I thread the needle between me and 50 yards everytime. Now to only sit in 20' weather with wind, and a monster buck walking by.... then it's a WHOLE new ballgame

Thanks for the heads-up about "Right On Target" bow shop and range CoastieHunter.

I looked them up on the web, www.right-on-target.com and called them with a question or two. I ended up talking to the owner, Les, for about 10 minutes. He was very nice and extremely helpful.

Even though it is a 75 minute drive for me, I will drive over there really soon. Thanks again for the good info on what appears to be a great bow shop.

BTW, they are having a Customer Appreciation Day this Saturday, the 11th of July. Runs from 10 am until 4 pm. They are having free BBQ and tons of door prizes and give-a-ways. Even $2 raffle tickets on a $500 PSE bow to be drawn on Saturday. Les, the owner, says to me, "You ought to load up a car load of your buddies and head this way!"

Thanks again CoastieHunter!

No problem man. Yeah I want to go to Bownanza pretty bad... but not worth a 7 hr drive from Memphis.

Les know's his stuff.... when you go in there ask to see him shoot! IT'S AMAZING! Told him to shoot the eye out of a turkey tarket.... no kidding, like the size of a dime. He did it.... not only once but twice!

Oh... if you get the chance to ever see the Luminox in person you'll end up buying a couple!!! THEY ARE SWEET! And SUPER SUPER bright! I picked up 4 for the season

Yep, lit nocks are great. I'm more of a do it yourselfer (and cheap), so I make my own. Amazing watching that arrow flying at dawn or dusk. Like you say, you need to see it to believe it!
