GAINESVILLE — Suspended Florida Gators quarterback Will Grier lost his NCAA drug test appeal, a source told the Orlando Sentinel Friday.

UF later confirmed the news on its football Twitter account.

Grier sought to have his 12-month suspension for using a performance-enhancing drug reduced to the remainder of the 2015 season, but the NCAA ruled against his appeal.

He will not be allowed to return until the seventh game of the 2016 season — an Oct. 15 visit from Missouri. :tu:

I forgot to post,he must also pass a series of NCAA administered drug tests. Good luck Will. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:
