I am tuned with Easton Flatline Surgicals shooting 85 grain tips. I have decided on the Grim Reaper Razor Tip 85 grain mechanicals this season. Anybody shooting the Reapers?

i killed doe with onelast year not impressed no blood and two of the blades broke off in the deer it was a lung shoot to.

well i did find her 2 hours after i started looking she made a big u and ended directly in line with were i shoot her. never would have found her if she didnt bed down right of the road bed i walk in on. but dont let 1 bad experience sway your decision everybody has bad experiences now and again. Even thoose rage users

Used them for 3 years and killed I think 7 deer with them. Would always check the blades to make sure they open each time I got in the tree. Then one day one of the blades started sticking and not easy to open. More of a confidence thing but it made me switch. went to a fixed muzzy. They are a good broadheads though.

Used them for the first time last year. Shot a doe broadside and hit her a little far back, but still should have been a good double lung shot. Only blood that could be found was right where she was standing when I shot. Luckily, I was hunting a corn field and she fell about 10 feet from where she exited the field. Then, I found that the arrow had exited at her opposite flank. I have no idea how the arrow made such a drastic change in direction. Ended up only penetrating the near side lung. End result was good - clean kill and she only traveled about 100 yards. I just worry about what went wrong.
This being said, I have friends that swear by them and I am going to give them another shot this season.
