A few years ago I wrapped my gun sling with a wrap used for tennis racket grips to provide some tackiness to keep the sling from slipping from my shoulder while walking.

It has worked well, but it has worn and needs to be replaced.

I was just curious if anyone has come across one that has something like that incorporated into it?

I have a couple of the Quake Claw slings. I love the things. They are rubbery and stay put.

i have a love hate with the claw. i use one for turkey hunting because i like how it holds when you have to run to bend and move, however i find times i don't like it because of the same features. there are times i need to slide my gun off and it is so stuck to me clothes i have to force it which pisses me off sometimes.

I will agree with Andy and i like the contoured one better then the wider one for sure.

I have a Claw sling and do like it, but the one I have moved to for both rifles and my turkey gun is the Ultimate Sling from Slogan Outdoors. It is a heavy duty rubber type sling that stretches and molds/holds on your shoulder due to the stretch. The sling does not dangle down from the gun where it is blowing in the breeze or catching on things. I bought my first one years ago at one of the deer shows at the fairgrounds, and have ordered some more in years past.

Here is a link to it on Amazon:
