Had to fight him but got him

My first in at least 2 years if not 3. They gobbled a maybe twice on roost and shut up I knew I was close to them. Heard them come down, called a couple of time and shut up. It wasn't long till hens showed up. I called once then the hens stepped out. I waited now I am in woods and can't see far. Finely He stepped out and started toward my Jake decoy. I had to shoot or he would have beat up my Jake. Now for the fun part when I got to him he was laying still on the ground as I reached over to pick him up he came alive, put a good hole in my hand. I staked falling and some how fell on him in a setting position had him pined so count of 3 I won the match. I never heard any other gobbles except the two I first heard he came in quite.
