This is a first for me. I must say, it's pretty dang easy once you get the hang of it. I used all hand tools including the drill for the roll crimp. The initial investment in the tools was a bit costly, but the actual loads themselves worked out to be a little under $5 per shell. From what I've read, this should make my .410 deadly out to 40 yards.

I'll post pictures of the patterns when I get a chance to shoot. I'm loving this challenge already!

Hawglips hooked me up with the goods and the recipe.

3 in TSS #9s

Good for you want to try it soon. May hit you up for the recipe.

Hawglips will gladly give you some recipes if you purchase TSS from him. He is not an advocate of loaders (like myself) giving out the load data that he has paid to have tested for pressure signs etc. I'm not being a horse's rear, just making you aware in case you were not of his expectations if you will.

Turn the lights on the back porch and shoot that gun and post up pictures!

Sent from the barrel of a model 70 at 3300 fps

Unfortunately, 40 yards would be me somewhere in my neighbor's backyard. They frown upon that sort of thing around 8-)

I completely understand! I will get my stuff from him then. Thanks for letting me know!

I'm not sure if Hawglips wants me posting that or not.
No worries, I totally understand where you are coming from. He would be okay with that, but not sharing recipes (load data) that he had paid to have tested. I have dealt with him for several years now, all is good.
