"He told me if I had a 6-foot-3-inch piece of carpet for him to sleep on, that would be enough," Nordin told Scout. "I said we have guest rooms, and he said, 'Tell you what, I'll just sleep on the floor in your room.' I said, 'Coach, I have Penn State stuff all over my walls.' "he said, 'Tell you what, I can help you take it down.'" :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

One trait of highly successful people; They think outside the box.

This won't be the first time a head coach has slept in a recruit's house.

If it's not the first time, then it isn't "outside the box" thinking. I'm sorry, wanting to sleep in a recruit's bedroom is just creepy. This kid is also committed to Penn State. Need I say more about the optics?

Being the first isn't the only characteristic of 'outside the box thinking.'

You'd be praising the same if Urban Crier was doing it. :rotf:

This is Harbaugh generating another media sensation the week of the national championship game with his antics. And it works. The Michigan program has been in the toilet for over a decade and he resorts to this type of creepy behavior. It's even worse than running around shirtless at his many "satellite camps" throughout the South that your SEC coaches are ticked off about (OSU had one at FAU). Luckily, as an Ohio State fan, I don't have to explain this type of weird behavior. According to your way of thinking, just imagine how successful Nick Saban could have been if he resorted to Harbaugh's way of "outside the box" thinking.

I'll agree to disagree on the antics of Jim "the creep" Harbaugh.

As already mentioned, you would be praising Urban for doing the same.

Fortunately, I'll never have to contemplate a reaction to Urban having a slumber party with a recruit.

If I was an Ole Miss fan, I'd be happy with Harbaugh exploiting this recruiting loophole. I wonder what Rashaun Gary's mother thinks about this? Is Hugh Freeze planning a slumber party with Rashaun? I doubt it.

Dang, Gator!!

Gator, as I've said on other threads, UT v UM would have been a good bowl game.

Since 2000, UM is 3-12 vs OSU (and the 2011 win was the Fickel year). UM 0-4 vs Urban. OSU and UM have played football against each other for 112 years. The worst loss suffered by the skunk weasels in the series occurred on 11/28/2015. 42-13 Buckeyes in Ann Arbor. Desperate times call for desperate measures. The antics of this creep will grow weary and (like every other job he's had) he'll be gone within 3 years and back to the NFL. He already down tweets (or whatever the millenials call it) the 49ers. That says a lot about where his mind is.

* Edited: Gator, didn't intend this response to seem like I was bashing you (or anyone other than maybe Jimmie). Been bothering me so wanted apologize if you took offense.
