I had to give up shooting my PSE a couple of years ago because of a problem with my elbow so,I bought my horton crossbow and absolutely love it. My elbow is now better and I would really love to go back to a regular bow again. The problem is I will have to sell/trade my crossbow in order to get another bow right now. I just don't know if I can get back in to the swing of things fast enough for this season.

I guess the question is do you think there is enough time to get ready again after not shooting one for over 2 years?

I would think yes, since you already have some experience with shooting compounds..I had never shot a compound bow before in my life, until last Aug,I bought my first one,BPS set me up and gave me some pointers and by the time bow season came around I was able to shoot 3 to 4 inch groups at 30yds,So I hunted, and took my first bow deer on Oct 1st...So I don't think it would be too late, but you will need to practice like a bandit!!

I don't think I will have much of a problem picking it back up but,I basically changed everything about the way I hunt since switching. I archery hunted for 15+ years and always from a stand until I started using the crossbow and switched to ground hunting mostly. I guess I won't know unless I try...lol

Anybody got a bow they want to do some trading on????

I'm not really sure. It's a legend 150 w/red dot scope. My wife bought it from a dealer here in Knoxville about 2 years ago.

I don't really know anything about crossbow's. I've got a HCA supreme, it's an older bow. Not worth much I wouldnt think. If your interested in it, pm me. If you want a newer bow, maybe you could check lsn.com or archerytalk.com
