How much will these few nights of cold affect your area as far as burning/killing leaves, vegetation, and blooms? Forecast says 22 here tonite and 25 tomorrow nite. It's been greening up good here for weeks but after this...man I don't know.

I'm hoping most of the green up is the early stuff designed to handle these temps. If not it'll bounce back, but still pisses me off

I hope it doesn't kill nearly all acorns as it did in 2007. Except that was around April 7th?
I remember there being g zero acorns that fall. After the hard freezes, the leaves turned black was a strange sight.

Oaks aren't out.. seen a few redbuds. Bradford pears are bloomed out everywhere, I hope them things die! They kill my allergies

I've noticed the pears and apples got beat back as they came out early. I don't think it will do much on anything else...just the early stuff has been out. Now an April hard freeze would have me worried!

Pear trees are tuff they can usually handle a freeze. Peaches are fairly weak they can't. Apples are sort of in the middle.
