Has to be tough on the turkeys

Here, on top of the snow, there are about two inches of solid ice. My guess is there is no way for a turkey, or any other
smaller animal or bird, to break through to scratch for food.
Must be very stressful for all of them. :(

Like most other things, turkeys don't have to feed every day. They may stay in the trees and eat buds if necessary.

He's not kidding. He's actually not graduated to being a turkey hunter yet in his life. Although I'd say he's getting closer every day....he's already hanging out in the turkey forum. ;)
