He backed out.

We couldn't go on Saturday's hunt and this morning I got up at 4, showered and got dressed and he backed out due to a little bit of rain here. Oh well, now that I'm up, guess I'll go to the gym.

Similar story here. I got up at 5 and checked the weather. Rain was out so I woke him up and he said "I'm too tired" so I went back to bed too. Funny thing is he said he went outside later to let the dog in and there was a gobbler in full strut gobbling about 75 yards behind the house.

Me and my lil girl got in the blind yesterday morning at 6:25 and we had the 1st tom gobble about 7:00 and then it was on, had one in front of us and two behind us blowing the tree tops out then the hens got too talking so that had her shook up from the start then having 6 does walk rite In front of us about 40 yds didn't help matters so when the turkey came off the roost and come out in the edge of the field she was so shook up she couldn't even shoot at the Tom before they got to far away and we haven't seen a turkey since 8:30 yesterday morning.But we have had a great time together just hanging out this weekend........
