Was in Ohio all weekend and it was COLD up there. They gobbled good both mornings and temps were low 30s

Didn't hear much on my best spot this weekend, not blaming it on weather though. The turkeys are just not there anymore.
I like the cool mornings, it typically means they gobble better.

They were fired up at our place in the cold Saturday. We killed our 2 and probably could have killed a couple more. It was a good morning!

I was out there Sunday AM and there was frost on the ground when I left. I had thermals on and packed my deer hunting gloves with the flip off mits, so your fingers are exposed. My hands got cold in the 20-30 minutes i was there, but then he flew down and I shot him, so i go tot go home early :grin:

I don't know that it gets too cold for them, I see more during deer season than any other time.
