Has to be Davonte Smith. Otherwise, it's a farce.
The votes were already in before any of the bowl games. Trask and Lawrence both weren't the best in the bowl games but since the votes were already in...who knows. Trask was horrible in their final game. I think it should be D.Smith but I am biased.

That loss to Florida probably sealed the deal. Can't be the #1 Athlete in the country when you can't beat the #1 team in the country.
People keep saying "if" vols would have just won the Orange Bowl and Michigan Lost to Washington State they would have gone on to win a Natty. Its always Ifs with the vols.
