anyone shot the new mathews heli ? and has anyone shot the Hoyt Rampage. If so what are the thoughts on them. I picked both of them up and inspected them not long ago and the Heli feels awesome, just kinda torn between the two

I certainly don't mean to across wrong, or appear to sound condescending, but it really doesn't matter what others opinion, or thoughts are--you are the one that has to shoot it. It is like a pair of tennis shoes--each will feel and react differently from one person to the next. I always tell people that are torn between different bows to shoot each one with their eyes closed while standing right in front of a target, as that will give you different perspective on the feel of different bows upon release based on the fact that with your eyes open you are concentrating on the target and not so much the feel of the bow. Hope this helps, and once again--I hope it is not taken wrong as that is not my intention. :)

Both are fine rigs. I prefer hybrid cams over a single cam setup myself and the Rampage will save you a few bucks so that would be my choice. Real world speeds will be virtually identical. Ultimately, you just need to shoot them both and see which one picks you.

The heli has stops on the cam that I love. No spongy feeling at full draw. Just sold my drenalin and picking up the heli/m next week.

If your willing to spend the money on a new bow its hard to go wrong with any of the big names, but Im partial to a Mathews, I like the Heli and the new Bowtech, just shot one and its nice, forgot the name but a awesome bow. I bowhunt all the time and I put my money always in a good product that I dont have to worry about. I dont have the money to blow but if I get something built well I dont have to worry about it.I still shoot the original Monster and just had a a full string job done to it. Its three years old and as fast and more accurate than I can explain. Just dont cheap out, by something that fits you and get comfortable with it

Neither, get the monster mr7! And yes my last 6 bows have been Mathews and they are the best in my opinion!
 way over rated!!! try one of all of the brands you can find and dont buy just because of the name !!!! get the one that fits and feels the best to you!!!!

most say there is no need for great optics UNTIL they own them aswell. Do i need a Zeiss or nightforce ETC..... No BUT they sure are nice!
