back a month or so ago, there was discussion on here regarding a new mech. head from NAP that might replace Rage...or something like that.

I ordered a three pack, shot them, liked them and said so on this forum. Yesterday. I shot two of three at deer and love them even more. I want to order six more of them.

NOW WHAT THE HECK WERE THEY CALLED?????

tWO BLADE, 100-GRAIN WITH A CUT ON CONTACT POINT. GRAY BODY WITH SILVER BLADES. No name or number. Anybody know? I love them suckers!!!

Yep- I just talked to some media dude at NAP and we narrowed it down. That is what it is. Asked if I coudl order six and he said, I'll send you six today and put the bill in with them.

That is media speak for "You may or may not get a bill."

When Babe Stojanek handled all their media, he just automatically sent me 18 Thunderhead 125's every year because he knew I would use that many and would give them good press. I guess I have kinda lost touch in the last few years :)

I shot a small buck through the front shoulder at about 30 and you talk about damage! Looked like a chainsaw masacre. Deer went about 60-yards and it was a complete blood bath. But dang! I could not find the arrow. Then suckers are too spensive to be losing.

This is the entrance wound. Sorry about the sorry picture, I don't usually take them this gory.

I bought 6 Killzone Broad heads this year myself. Took a doe Sunday morning. I am with you there Bowriter, I love them also.

I bought a pack this year too. I shot a doe and spined her. The entrance hole was huge. Yanked the arrow out and cleaned the head. Both blades are in mint condition and will kill again.

those are some nasty looking heads.I just now heard of them.I might have to give them a try.I like the no O ring or rubber band design..Also it comes with a practice head,I like that too.May have to get some this weekend.

Mine had a complete pass thru. I cleaned mine, and it seem good as new. But if you read, it says to change the little thing that holds them closed, and the blades I think after every shot. To me it don't seem like you would have to.

Entrance wound from just up the trail. Went about 50.

This is deer #4. Only one actually required any trailing and that wasmy fault.

Not to hijack the thread. But I bought a set last Sat at "Dicks"
they had them for $10.00 off.....$29.99 org price $39.99

These things fly great and I love how they stay closed unlike the Rage everytime you touch something.

Thanks for the heads up BW I would have never bought them if not for seeing your thread a few weeks ago.

Man is that insane or what, talk about a gaping hole, hard to belive a bow & arrow can do that kind of work.

Think im gona have to try some out. Dont really like 2inch cut but I just love the concept of them. Suprised some rage lovers hasnt bashed the killzones yet. Thats a plus that their customer care is so good too.
