Help me choose

With that pattern, #6's will kill them all day long. Personally, with LB's, I'd be just as concerned as to what the pattern looks like at 20 yards as I would be at 45.

I have always used 5s since I started turkey hunting, but this year I will be experimenting with 4s in the longbeards. As was said before, if you're shooting lead use the 5s. You won't miss your turkey at any range, but if you miss-guess yardage on a long shot you need the penetration of the bigger pellet.

......very true, especially if you hunt hardwoods where birds can slip in and be in your lap before you know it. If you primarily hunt fields (seems a lot do these days) where you can burn him before he gets close, it may not be as important to you. I mostly hunt hardwoods, so the 20 and 30 yards patterns are just as important, if not more important, than the 40-45 yard patterns.

I use a scope so twenty yards with the 5 or 6 his head is coming off of barely hanging, thing I may try the 6 I very seldom hunt fields but I do have open timber where 40-50 is possible
