I am in no way over this shoulder surgery screw up,,I still plan on goin huntin but I am seriously scared to shoot my regular turkey loads in the 835,

can anybody recomend a 2 3/4 inch shell that would work in the 835 with a Hastings .675 choke

Have you tried shooting left handed? I broke my finger one year on my right hand opening day of smoke pole season, got home from dr grabbed the .22 and taught myself how to shoot left handed. Not only did i get to hunt the next morning i now can shoot either or and dont have to worry about deer or turkey coming in on the "wrong side". Good luck.

Ditto on left handed. Give it a try. I started swapping hands with my BB gun for fun way when back and can shoot with both. I actually prefer a left handed shot now because I can't get all the astigmatism in my right eye corrected. I even switched to left hand bows.

Eric, I would go with the Win Xtended range loads in 2 3/4 in. They do really well for a 2 3/4 load.

the kid that killed with me this past weekend was using 2 3/4 winchester HV and the bird never flopped at 20yds. this was out of an OLD pump shotgun with no choke..just a full barrel.

we have an 870 youth 20 gauge 3 inch magnum in the safe,,I think I would rather have the 2 3/4 inch 12 gauge as the 20,,even if I have to use low brass 6 shot.
