Daughter got her 1st turkey Saturday.
6:15 Owl call to shock gobble
6:40 2 toms came off roost working through draw to us (Knight and Hale slate call)
7:00 showed up in field with us
7:02 she dropped the strutter at 15 yds
No blind, decoy used and she stayed completely still. Proud of her!

That is awesome ! My daughter has 1 more year for juvie and every outing is special and the excitement in a darter after a kill is priceless.good job dad.

Nice bird! Love seeing the young folks getting out and having fun, good job dad and congratulations little lady on harvesting a big ole tom! :super:

Thanks everybody! Bird stats:
1" spurs, 9.25" beard. Didn't weigh him though. Good luck to all this weekend.
