Went to Herb Parsons last thursday to see if I could hit the bags . Shot about 30 arrows all together and was pleased with everything . Shot the 50 yard bag only and got my group down to 4-5 inches . Will go back when it is cooler and take pic next time .

Do you practice @ 50 as a confidence builder, or do you plan on take'n such a shot if presented?

I practice out to 60. And if the conditions are right and I feel confident I will take a shot out to 50 yds. I shot a doe last season at 52 yds, complete pass, ran 20yds and flopped over.

I just practice out to 50 yds just to tighten up my groups at closer ranges .Where I hunt my longest shot is about 30 yds

I need to get out there when it gets cooler, only been to that range once

I only excpect my bow to shoot 30yds max in a hunting situation. If I have to shoot much further than that then I know I haven't done my bowhunter's homework. The whole point of bowhunting is to get close. Long shots are for rifles. IMO

went to Herb this afternoon. storms all around but was able to shoot about an hour and the temps were very nice
