They say Pearson has one for '09 that hit 361 FPS with a 360 something grain arrow, 70 pounds 30" draw. They said the bow at 28" draw and 70 pounds shot that same arrow at 330 something FPS. 2009 is going to be seeing a lot of bows jumping on this hybrid cam speed thing to catch up with the X-Force. About every company is going to have a 350 FPS bow.

Alot of companies are chopping the brace height to get the speed. Bowtech is gettin close with out doing so. I will take a longer brace height over speed any day.

Unfortunately speed sells bows . I'd like to see a few more forgiving , hunting bows on the market .

Bowtech is making a mistake by not putting out the Allegiance!

I'm not sure if the pics show are just the new bows or the whole line up. Yea I agree the allegiance is what i have now. I hope they have the 101 if not I will get the 08 for sure.

I agree 100%. I love to tinker to see what speed I can get out of a bow, but it is not a necesity for hunting or 3d.

Bowtech is making a mistake not putting out the equalizer for the ladies!!

I'm not sure if the bows pictured are just new bows or if that is the entire line up. They may still have the allegiance and 101 and equalizer. I don't really know

Bob, is that Admiral suppose to be there best bow for '09?

Don't rightly know. The specs put it real close to the General from last year. Out of the center pivot riser bows I like the captain. I like a longer A2A, keeps me steady. I had an 07 commander, but I didn't care for the back wall of that bow. I don't know if the new center pivot bows have the same post style back wall or not. Anyway i would think that the 82nd would be the perferd target bow, but I guess we'll just have to shoot em and see.

I don't like the $$$ on these bows. definately a downside for this year. I also don't like that they changed the brace height of the 82nd to get to that 350 mark.

OBTW the bowtech website has switched to the 09 stuff. There is one more bow called the sniper. So yea that is it for the line up.
