Some how AUB $wayed him to commit. He already had a video done with him committing to UT. A last minute visit to AUB changed his mind.

4- Star "Jay Hardy" from Chatt., TN.

Big loss for the Vols for playing ability. I'm not sure if it was any loss character wise. He was still lying to other recruits and the Vols coaching staff as late as Monday night. He committed to the Vols three months ago and had his TN commitment video filmed in August. He claimed in an interview that he committed to Gus on Sunday night.

Typical $EC recruiting wars, and the Vols were on the losing end of this one.

gus probably won't even be there to coach him next year . Lol

definitely a loss, you win some and you lose some. In state recruits we need to be winning.

Let face it. This kid was just barley out of diapers the last time vols won 10+ games.

phil gonna have to offer something more than a nice facility and ancient history for kids to want to be ready play anywhere anytime.

If I was a really good recruit I would play for my favorite team regardless of team record, funny how many just see the bench while they could go somewhere and play

85% of kids nowadays don't look at it that way.... The teams with the hype and get to the next level is all that matters. KY basketball is a good reference as well.

Much more at play than your favorite team or team colors. Loyalty is out the window. Kids today have to look at a much larger picture. If they truly have the ability to play the game at a high level they need to be in a program where their value is going to be used efficiently. Once draft day hits at the NFL WHERE they play will factor in that greatly.
