Bought one for my Dad last year for Father's Day, it has begun to misfire at random, the firing pin looks as thoufh it's hitting on the extreme edge of the misfired cases but fine on the others. I called customer service they said it was likely the firing pin but it was going to be $85 dollars to sent it back to them. That's 2/3 thirdsthe cost of a new gun. I was hoping I could replace the pin myself but can't find any info on how it's done. If anyone has done it I'd appreciate the help. Thanks

I don't think it was I bought it new and gave it to my 70 year old Dad, he always taught us to never dry fire any gun so I can't image he did. I don't really think it's a issue with the firing pin but they say it is.I Think it's more of a timing issue

So they are going to charge you $85 to look at a gun that's maybe 1 year old? I had looked at them thinking they'd be a cool cheap beater gun but I think I'll look elsewhere.

I had to send a double barrel shotgun off that I had thoroughly used and was prepared for a $75-100 bill for a thorough action cleaning and repair because it wouldn't lock up and was well out of warranty. I was pleasantly surprised when it came back without a bill and called to make sure we were square just in case.

That's a raw deal if you ask me.

It's 2 months out of their one year warranty period. $35 bench fee and $50 shipping label. I told the guy that I could catch the gun on sale for $99. He said I completely understand but wouldn't wave the $35 bench fee. Looks like I am stuck with a good paper weight lol

Ordered a firing pin from eBay, took a chance on replacing it myself . Turned out to be easy enough , I fired it 6 times afterward with no issues. It will take several more rds before I am convinced it's fixed. I could not see anything wrong with the old firing pin.
