Hevi-shot through kick's choke?

Anybody running magnum blend through a kicks GT? Used my google-fu and found some say not to and others say you can. What do yall think?

I too have done it for years.... And they do have a relationship with Winchester.

I have run Hevi shot through one of my kicks chokes for 7 yrs now, no problem.

I've run Hevi shot federal heavyweight antld TSS through my 10 gauge kicks with no problems.

Kicks IMO is the best choke made

10-4 Kicks is the BEST!!! And they will stand behind them

Ok good. Its a .670 for an 835. Will see how good it patterns on the 15th.

.670 may be a little tight for HTL. I use a .680 in mine..

I see good results with pure gold 670 but they have different internals. It should be good enough tokill regardless

.680 will get ya better results IMO. I've shot em all and .680 shoots best. If you check out Kicks web site it will have the recommended choke tube. I've shot a 835 and 935 fors and used a Kicks GT, Ive shot Hevi and it didnt hurt the choke or gun.

The only reason they tell you no htl is because they are doing the famous cya!! They can't get sued if you blow your gun up with an htl load !! Htl was not around big time when kicks first made the tube so they don't know and they aren't going to go back to the drawing board to change a perfect tube !! Just my thoughts
