I prepared for turkey season last year and bought a Gobbling Thunder choke tube for my 935. Well starting doing more research to find out that the maker of the choke does not recommend shooting Hevi Shot through the tube and had to shoot a different tube. Hevi shot says it wont hurt the tube and many people use the same combo. So, is the choke tube company just worried about liabilty or will it hurt the choke and my gun?
Is there better combos?

i was told kicks had an affiliation with a lead shell manufacturer and thats why they put that on their chokes. I dont know if thats correct or not but i have a couple buddies who shoot it through theirs.

I've heard the same

I've shot a crapload of hevi through my kicks as well as lead and federal heavyweight.

I would not be scared to say that kicks probably makes the stoutest choke out there.

Kicks is in bed with Winchester, he will tell you that Winchester extended range, and nitros are safe but hevi is not... hmmmm
