Hevishot vs Federal Heavyweight????

Whats the diffrence guys? Is it just brand difference or what? I know guys the swear by one or the other but nobody I know swears by both lol

Federal HW is heavier than Hevi-Shot.... if you want the specifics look on OG.... But I believe Hevi shot is around 13 where the FHW is 16-18.

Hevishot is supposed to be 13g/cc, but a lot of it is 12-12.5. Fed HW is 15g/cc, more dense, which equals greater penetration if all other things are equal. For reference purposes, lead is 11.35g/cc.
