Question for you jlanecr500, since you do a lot of Savage switch barrel stuff…
Say I have a Savage 110 .270 that I develop a good load for. Then I buy another 110 to use as a donor, and swap the 270 from the first rifle over to it… will that load transfer over to the new action/barrel combo, or will I need to develop a new load for it.
Another way of asking the question… is the load developed for the barrel, or for the barrel action combo?
My question is geared towards resonance and accuracy, not safety, as the assumption is that the head spacing is performed properly.
