If college football teams could be sold like an NFL team, what team would bring the highest value? You know the answer to that question, don't you SEC fans!

Alabama is sniffing it, but far behind the big boys. Given what Vermin posted about the dollars SEC schools spend on football compared to their students and the pathetic SEC graduation rates for their non-football player students, that ROI doesn't look too good as well. Just wow. I guess selling their souls to the devil isn't building much brand value.

Oh yes, before I forget. Go tigers! But I wonder how long they will be able to keep it up? #30 on the list.

Despite the humiliation of a 12-1 season, it's good to be a Buckeye fan.

That list is useless and has no point.

Of course you would think that, but of course you are also wrong. In the grand scheme of things, it means everything.

Uhh, you do realize that this means the other schools are actually SPENDING the money they make on their programs, right ;) :super: ?

And, congrats BTW :rotf: !

Brewer analyzed each program's revenues and expenses and made cash-flow adjustments, risk assessments and growth projections to calculate what a college team would be worth on the open market, if it could be bought and sold like a professional franchise.

Not true. Most SEC football program expenses are covered by SEC "bag men" like cur.
